Francesco Roscia (he/his/him) is a Ph.D. student in Bioengineering and Robotics - curriculum Advanced and Humanoid Robotics, at the Dynamic Legged Systems (DLS) lab. His research topic is aerial motions for quadruped robots, paying particular emphasis on the landing phase of leaps.

He received his B.Sc. Degree in Computer and Automation Engineering (L-08) back in 2018 and his M.Sc. Degree in Automation Engineering (LM-25) in 2020, both at University La Sapienza, Rome, Italy. In 2020 he has been guest student in Humanoids & Human Centered Mechatronics (HHCM) lab at IIT.

His domain of interest includes legged locomotion, robot manipulation, automatic control and numerical optimization.
