Sergio Leggieri is Ph.D. Student at the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT) and the University of Bergamo. He graduated in “Robotics and Automation Engineering” from the University of Pisa in 2016. From 2017 to 2018, he worked as collaborator at IIT on the development of a robot for the inspection of power generators, in collaboration with Ansaldo Energia. From 2018 to 2022, he enrolled the Ph.D. program in Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Bergamo in collaboration with the IIT. During these years, he worked on the modeling, simulation, design and experimental validation of a novel robot for inspection of industrial plants.

His main research interests are in Robotics, Control Systems, Inspection Robotics, and Robot Modeling.
