Federico is a PhD student in Nanoscience at Scuola Normale Superiore and Italian Institute of Technology.
He received his MSc in Nanotechnology Engineering and his BSc in Clinical Engineering from Sapienza University of Rome.
His research focuses on the engineering of hybrid nanocarriers and nanomaterials for carcinoma treatment, with a particular focus on Boron Neutron Capture Therapy, a promising targeted radiotherapy. Other research interests include Nanomaterial characterization, Drug Delivery, New Approaches Methodologies as alternatives to animal testing, and Microfluidics.
