Giulio Turrisi graduated in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics in October 2018 at the La Sapienza University of Rome, attaining the excellence path. He started the PhD in Automatic Control, Bioengineering and Operations Research (ING-INF/04) in November 2018, joining the DIAG Robotics Lab. 

He is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Dynamic Legged Systems lab, Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia, where he conducts his research in Machine Learning methods for robot locomotion.
