Giovanni Minelli

I am a researcher in AI, holding a BSc in Computer Science and an MSc in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Bologna. During my MSc, I completed my thesis abroad at University College London (UCL), focusing on Multi-Agent Reinforcement Learning. I am currently a PhD student at the DLS Lab @IIT, where my research focuses on learning policies for autonomous agents operating in unstructured and hostile environments, with particular emphasis on robotic manipulation and loco-manipulation systems. My primary interest resides in the use of Reinforcement Learning and Computer Vision techniques to develop autonomous systems that can perceive, navigate, and complete long-horizon tasks through practical applications of deep learning algorithms to help address real-world challenges.
